Training Development Manager

Molly Knapp, MA, AHIP-D, is a Training Development Manager for the National Training Office of the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) at the Eccles Library, University of Utah. A librarian with over twenty years of experience in academic health science libraries, she received her Master of Arts, Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida School of Information. She is a Distinguished Member of the Medical Library Association’s Academy of Health Information Professionals, and a 2010 NLM Fellow in Medical Informatics at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. She received the 2012 Librarian of the Year award from the South Central Chapter of MLA for her development of the online class “Get Mobilized: an introduction to mobile resources and tools in health sciences libraries,” and the 2018 Virginia L. and William K. Beatty MLA Volunteer Service Award. Before joining NNLM in 2016, she was a librarian at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans John P Ische Library and the Rudolph Matas Library of the Health Sciences at Tulane University. Molly is the Editor in Chief of Medical Reference Services Quarterly and author of numerous publications.
