Kim Rogers is the Lead Librarian for New Haven Public Schools, where she recently collaborated with Quinnipiac University and the NHPS Health Department to improve health and research outcomes for students. Kim began teaching in 2007 after obtaining a double bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Information & Library Science from Southern Connecticut State University, then cross-certified to become a K-12 librarian in 2015. Currently enrolled at the University of Bridgeport for her administrator certificate, her daily work focuses on building library staffing across all NHPS schools and advocating for the importance of informational literacy across all content areas. She holds two master’s degrees in Instruction & Curriculum from University of St. Joseph, West Hartford, and in STEM Education from Albertus Magnus College, New Haven.
