Jeremy Gunnoe, MSLIS is the Assistant Director and a Medical Librarian for the Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library at Howard University in Washington, DC. In this role, he oversees the library's day-to-day operations and manages several librarians, technical staff, and student workers. His goals as a manager are to allow employees room to grow and explore their interests and to be an advocate for them and the library. Promoting the library resources and supporting the faculty, students, and staff of the Howard University Health Sciences colleges and Howard University Hospital, the library adheres to the university health sciences mission of combating disparities in health care, promoting health equity, and providing evidence-based resources to the university community. Jeremy received his MSLIS from Drexel University in Philadelphia and his BA in Art History from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. He lives in Maryland with his husband, two dogs, two cats, an aquarium of fishies, multiple porch cats from nearby feral colonies, and a Hermann's Tortoise named Pierre.
