Alexia Sheck completed her Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her Master of Science in Library and Information Sciences with a Business Concentration at Pratt Institute. Alexia has worked in academic libraries for over ten years and over eight years in corporate libraries. Her research focuses on digital reference, where she has a list of publications and presentations on digital and virtual reference. She has taught for credit courses in Library Science. Alexia focuses on guiding students to become independent and lifelong learners. She is a member of Medical Library Association and American Library Association.
