Alicia Livinski, MPH, MA is an Informationist/Biomedical Librarian and joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Library in 2007. Alicia supports the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Office of Global Affairs (OGA), and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) all in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. At the NIH, she works with the Fogarty International Center (FIC), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and the public health dentistry fellows at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) in addition to other smaller groups working on global health, infectious diseases, cancer, animal and clinical research. She is the lead for the NIH Library's evidence synthesis review service which provides consultation, instruction, searching, and other assistance to researchers to conduct quality scoping, systematic and other types of reviews.
Prior to joining NIH, Alicia worked for 5 years as the Information and Communications Advisor with the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood on international maternal health and advocacy programs. She received her Masters in Public Health from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, and BA from Eckerd College.
