Alemayehu Bisrat is a graduate of Health Informatics (MSc) from Addis Ababa University and works as an Assistant Professor of Health Informatics at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Beyond his teaching and research activities, Alemyehu serves as director of library and information services directorate of the college. He has also held different positions at the John F. Kennedy Memorial library of Addis Ababa University including: leading the reference department of the library, leading the law school Library, and leading the College of Health Sciences Library. Alemayehu has also served as a health informatics expert and project manager at the Center for E-Health Project. Alemayehu holds certifications as a trainer and champion for the UpToDate Better Evidence Training program and coordinates and leads training on the use of the Research 4 Life resources.. Finally, Alemayehu is interested in pursuing research in the area of health information technology, mHealth, telemedicine, tele-health, EMR/EHR, HMIS, and health information resources access and usage.
