Margaret Ansell is the Nursing & Consumer Health Liaison Librarian and Associate Chair at the University of Florida’s Health Science Center Libraries in Gainesville, Florida. She works with the College of Nursing and clinical nursing staff at UF Health Shands Hospital, as well as with those who are interested in health information for the public. Her area of research involves flattening the learning curve for privileged spheres of knowledge, such as research methodology, consumer health information, and governmental affairs, through education, information access, and communication. In her role as Associate Chair, she supervises four tenure track librarians and participates in leadership decisions at the Libraries.
