Nina Exner, PhD, MLS

Nina is the Research Data Librarian at Virginia Commonwealth University. Nina uses she/her or they/them pronouns. They have an MLS from NCCU SLIS and a PhD from UNC's SILS. Their prefered research is on how academic librarians learn to do research, but they do a lot of data-practice-related and data policy scholarship. They are working a lot on the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy rollout, including serving as the 2022-2023 (inaugural) NNLM National Center for Data Services Ambassador, and the chair of the DMPTool's NIH Template Working Group. If you need someone to meet with your team and brainstorm NIH Data stuff, feel free to mail nexner at vcu dot edu to discuss! Really, I'm doing a lot of that, so feel free.
