Joey Nicholson

Chair and Director, NYU Health Sciences Library
NYU Langone Health

Joey Nicholson, MLIS MPH is the Department Chair and Director of the NYU Health Sciences Library at NYU Langone Health. Joey has been working as a medical librarian for over 15 years. During that time he has engaged in both systematic review methods and medical education research. This includes researching and teaching courses on best practices in systematic review and meta-analysis conduct. At the same time, researching best practices in assessing learning outcomes in medical students and tailoring content delivery to optimize what medical students learn from instructional sessions. Overall his program of research is aimed at helping librarians improve their own ability to integrate into their work ecosystems.
