Jacqueline Freeman, MLIS, is an Associate Librarian for the A. Alfred Taubman Health Sciences Library at the University of Michigan. Ms. Freeman teaches in the undergraduate medical education curriculum and in the School of Nursing, and is a liaison to the School of Kinesiology, the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Therapy Services. She received her Master of Library and Information Science degree from Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) in 2016. She previously worked in print acquisitions at the University of Michigan (2013-2016), serving University of Michigan Ann Arbor and Flint campuses. Her research interests include evidence-based practices, supporting nontraditional and first generation students, and the retention of underrepresented librarians.
