Emily Glenn, MSLS, AHID-D, is the interim dean at McGoogan Health Sciences Library at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Prior to joining UNMC in 2016, she worked as an outreach coordinator with the NNLM Pacific Northwest Region, a solo librarian, and an archivist. Emily holds a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Oregon. She was a member of the National Library of Medicine/Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries Leadership Fellows 2019/2020 fellowship cohort. Emily’s research interests include team science, mentorship, and international library partnerships. Emily has proudly served librarians and MLA colleagues in MLA committees, chapters, task forces, and community leadership positions for the past 15+ years.
