Christiane Voisin, MSLS, is the lead librarian for the RTI-UNC Evidence-based Practice Center and a Research Specialist at the Wexner Medical Center at the Ohio State University. She has developed the literature searches for many AHRQ-funded systematic reviews and meta-analysis, as well as the searches for USPSTF topics on Screening for Cardiovascular Risk with ECG, Screening for Lung Cancer with Low-Dose Computed Tomography, Genital Herpes, Vision Impairment in Children, Folic Acid Supplementation, Screening for Major Depressive Disorder among Children and Adolescents, Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Screening for Latent Tuberculosis Infection; Screening for Depression, Anxiety, and Suicide Risk in Children and Adolescents; Screening for Eating Disorders in Adults and Adolescents; Screening for Abnormal Blood Glucose and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Adults; and a similar review in children and adolescents. She has completed searches for Effective Health Care Program reviews on Psychological and Pharmacological Treatments for Adults with PTSD, and Screening for Elevated Blood Lead Levels in Children and Pregnant Women. She is currently supporting AHRQ-funded reviews on Primary Care Interventions to Prevent Child Maltreatment; Screening for Anal Cancer in High-Risk Populations; Vitamin D and Calcium to Prevent Fractures and Falls in Adults; Alcohol Use Disorder Treatment, Population-based Screening for Lynch Syndrome, and Screening for Speech and Language Delay and Disorders in Children Aged 5 Years or Younger. Additionally, she is currently supporting all topics within a AHRQ-funded subcontract to evaluate (1) priorities for updating recommendations regarding the list of clinical preventive service focus areas, and (2) five conceptual areas related to person-centered care: Telehealth and IT Technology, Innovative Models of Care, Linkages between Primary Care and Public Health or Community-based Organizations, Healthcare Disparities, and De-implementation of Unnecessary or Harmful Services. Ms. Voisin’s work has been supported by AHRQ, the Drug Effectiveness Review Project, MITRE, and the National Library of Medicine. Ms. Voisin provides contract literature search support to the Kaiser Permanente Care Management Institute and in the past has provided contract literature search support for projects funded by the State of Maryland, Washington State’s Health Care Authority, and the FDA.
