Mercy Wamunyima Monde (she/her/hers)

Mrs. Mercy Wamunyima Monde is the Acting Head of the Medical Library at the University of Zambia School of Medicine. She holds a Certificate in Nursing from the Lewanika School of Nursing in Zambia, and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Library Information Science from the University of Zambia. She has interests in Evidence-Based Healthcare/Medicine and consumer health information. To enhance uptake of EBM, Mercy is a Better Evidence Champion under the Better Evidence Program at Ariadne Labs - a joint center for health systems innovation at Brigham and Wome's Hospital and Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health She is involved in a number of health information research and projects to enhance health information in Africa. Currently, she is an executive member of The Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa (AHILA).
