Amy Allison, AHIP

Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine
Scranton, Pennsylvania

Amy Allison is Associate Dean for Library Services at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine where she oversees the libraries of the school and Geisinger Health in northeastern Pennsylvania. Previously at Emory University she worked as a clinical informationist and Associate Director at the Woodruff Health Sciences Center Library. Amy received an MLS from Clark Atlanta University, an MPH from Emory University, and a BS in Education from Baylor University.

Allison currently serves on the MLA Leadership Curriculum Committee and the leadership team of the Libraris in Health Sciences Curriculums Caucus and served on the 2018 Local Assistance Committee for the Annual Meeting. Amy has also been active in the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries and the Georgia Health Sciences Libraries Association.
