Laura A. Murray, MSIS, MBA, AHIP is the HCA Graduate Medical Education Librarian liaising between USF Morsani College of Medicine and the HCA Healthcare West Florida Division hospitals. A member of the faculty at USF Health Libraries, Murray serves residents, fellows, and faculty. Focusing on transformational learning and utilizing adult learning theory, Murray teaches coursework in evidence based practice, search strategy development, and research and literature review planning. Working toward a doctorate in Program Development/Innovative Education, her current research is in Graduate Medical Education librarianship, curriculum development, LGBTQ+ Information Literacy in Graduate Medical Education, peer review, and change management in an academic-corporate consortium.
