Stefanie Lapka, AHIP (she/her/hers)

Health Sciences Librarian
University of Houston, University Libraries

Stefanie Lapka is an Assistant Librarian in the Health Sciences Library, University of Houston Libraries. She supports multiple health programs at the Univeristy of Houston, including nursing, social work, and communication sciences and disorders. Stefanie holds a Master of Science in Information Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas State University. Her interests include social justice in health sciences libraries, critical consciousness in health professions education, and health humanities and their application to health care education and practice.
