Mundava is currently the Campus Library Head/Assistant University Library Director at A.T. Still University, Missouri campus. Mundava previously served as the director of library services at Cleveland State Community College, where she oversaw the library’s daily operations, including collection development and acquisition of materials, budgeting, and hiring of personnel. She strongly advocates promoting continuous improvement strategies that foster campus-wide partnership for student success and graduation, community collaborations, stakeholder engagement, and access to shared information resources, services, and expertise. She has worked in other academic libraries including liberal arts and research intensive libraries.
In 2018-19, Mundava was selected and completed the Association Research Libraries (ARL) Leadership program. Her research interest is varied, but she is interested in change management, diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, and outreach and marketing. Mundava has presented at conferences and published a book chapter and peer-reviewed articles on plagiarism, marketing approaches, and diversity issues in libraries. As a fairly new member of MLA, she looks forward to finding opportunities to collaborate with collegues in research topics of mutual interest.
