Jason Reed, MLS (he/him/his) is an Associate Professor and Health Sciences Information Specialist at Purdue University. He supports the teaching and learning of students, staff, and faculty in the College of Pharmacy, Depeartment of Public Health, and the Health and Kinesiology Department. Assistant Professor Reed is a frequent collaborator on systematic reivews with faculty and students across the health sciences. In addition to his work with systematic reviews, his research interests are in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and looking the human resources and professional development of academic librarians. Assistant Professor Reed co-teaches for credit courses on Introduction to Systematic Reviews open to all graduate students and a class on Conversations About Death and Dying for Pharmacy Students. He also teaches about evidence based practice through embedded instruction throughout his liaison areas. Prior to Purdue University, Assistant Professor Reed worked at Kansas State Univeristy and he received his MLS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
