Skye Bickett, AHIP is the reference and education librarian for the Georgia campus of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Mrs. Bickett earned her BS in art marketing from North Georgia College and State University and her MLIS from the University of South Carolina.

Mrs. Bickett’s interests include library research and using technology to enhance library services. She has served on the research committee for the Southern Chapter of the MLA (SC/MLA) since 2010 and was the chair for 2012. She has used technology to enhance her instruction and has started a YouTube channel for library related tutorials. She is also working with colleagues to create a new website for the library.

Mrs. Bickett is a member of the Medical Library Association (MLA), the Southern Chapter of the MLA (SC/MLA), American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), and various local associations. She serves on several committees, as well as having leadership roles in different associations. She has presented papers at meetings for organizations such as SC/MLA and the National Rural Health Association (NHRA) and has received 4 awards from the Southeast Atlantic Region of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine.
